OUR IDENTITY
Scripture tells us that once we were not a people, but now we have become God's People. As His Church, God has brought us together to learn to Love God, to love others, and make Disciples. At Bridge42 we come from many different backgrounds and walks of life, but we have one overarching identity that is bigger than any of our differences. we are a family with members who are striving to have an intimate relationship with Jesus.
OUR MISSION
We believe that the purpose of the Church is to teach people to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples. Bridge42 Church exists to carry out this mission.
OUR PURPOSE LOCALLY
We believe in gathering God's people together for worship and then scattering into our neighborhoods and communities to live out the gospel by loving and serving those around us. Bridge42 desires to reflect the light of Christ in the Morganton area and beyond by engaging our friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, all of this with the goal of helping people to learn to follow the ways of Jesus.
OUR PURPOSE GLOBALLY
Our call to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples of Jesus goes far beyond the City of Morganton, and although we may not all be called to personally go to the ends of the earth, we are all called to support, give to, and pray for missions efforts around the world so that people from all tribes, tongues, and nations will have an opportunity to hear and respond to the offer Gospel of Jesus Christ.
